London, the capital of the United Kingdom, has a recorded history dating back over 2,000 years. The London Eye is one of Britain's most iconic tourist attractions, with over 3 million people a year visiting the wheel making it the UK's most popular paid tourist attraction. it is situated on the banks of the River Thames, in central London, a 5 minute walk from Waterloo Station.The wheel consists of 32 sealed capsules, each with a capacity of 25 people. The walls of the capsules are made of glass allowing for excellent views across London, and are large enough to walk around so you can view in all directions.

On display, you will also find royal commemorative souvenirs dating back to Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee in 1897 from the Museum’s own collections.
